Ward was the first daughter born in MonroeLouisiana, on the 15th of April 1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. As for secondary educationWard went to Ouachita Parish High Schoolbut then transferred to River Oaks High School on the following summer, after her junior year; thereshe was a member of the dance and drill teams. She was a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after the completion of her degree. Ward left her high school when she was 13 years old to begin modeling. In the years following she decided to try acting. She was first cast uncredited in the 1970s on the soap-opera All My Children. Later she was a part of the NBC's prime-time drama for teens, Malibu Shores. Then, in the fall of 1996, Ward was cast in the role of Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began her film career and starred as a character in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. This movie, which was at first a failure financially in the cinema, and later on video-on demand (VOD) it became extremely popular. Ward was a cameo in Shallow Hal - a smash success the next year. She has also acted in numerous other direct-to-DVD movies as well as guest roles in various TV shows particularly Friends. The ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It's main cast for its first two years, Chloe Kmet played the mother of a gymnast's young daughter in the year 2009. In private she was married to David C. Robinson. They had a son named Cameron.
